What is the Indoor Environmentalist – Intermediate Training?
This course is designed to assist with the development of professionals interested in providing indoor environmental quality (IEQ) investigations, reporting results, and recommending solutions for IEQ problems in commercial buildings. Knowledge of “The Essentials of Healthy Housing” and the “Seven Principles of Healthy Housing” is helpful but not required. This course can be taken immediately following the Fundamentals Level training or anytime afterwards. It also serves as a standalone course for those owning or managing commercial buildings. This two day onsite training course helps prepare you for the CIE and CIEC examinations through the American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC), an independent certifying body. More information on certification can be found here.
