What is the Mold Remediation Supervisor Training?
The course consists of background information, health effects, mold remediation equipment and techniques, personal protective equipment, and other safety hazards associated with mold remediation. You will learn about building science, mold remediation standards and guidelines, supervision of indoor environmental contracting projects, and water damage restoration. You will also learn about HVAC cleaning fundamentals, mold assessment and working with Indoor Environmental Professionals (IEP’s). In addition to instruction on applicable industry guidelines, standards and regulations, supervisors are shown how to write a scope of work, test and inspect equipment, supervise workers and develop a preliminary determination for a project. This three day onsite training course will help prepare you for the CMR and CMRS examinations through the American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC), an independent certifying body. More information on certification can be found here.
