“House as a System,” is not just an industry phrase, it is the fundamental science of why buildings work or fail. Some IAQ professionals believe an “issue” in an unconditioned part of the building like the attic, crawl space, or garage are just building defects.
This webinar will demonstrate how all parts of the building impact other areas of the building, and will demonstrate infiltration pathways. The exterior shell of a building, its HVAC system, interior finishes, and occupants are some of the common ingredients to an amazing result or disastrous condition. We’ll focus on these common factors of building installations and how they can create the perfect defects, and job security for IAQ professionals.
It’s not enough to just find the results of bad installations and remediate these visible conditions, but equally important to understand the building science failure and eliminate the condition from reoccurring.
