Rockville, MD
(November 1, 2005) – The 2005
IAQA-AmIAQ-IESO Annual Meeting
and Exposition was the first
combined annual meeting of the
Indoor Air Quality Association
(IAQA), the American Indoor Air
Quality Council (AmIAQ), and the
Indoor Environmental Standards
Organization (IESO), resulting
in the largest IAQ conference in
the history of the industry.
This dynamic meeting fostered
expanded educational
opportunities as reflected in
IAQA-AmIAQ-IESO 2005: The
Unification Conference
Proceedings, a 170 page
compilation of papers by
conference presenters.
The Proceedings
capture the content of dozens of
workshop presentations featuring
notable industry experts with
the most up to date findings in
the industry. IAQA is pleased to
announce the sale of this year’s
annual meeting proceedings to
both members and non-members.
Conference
speakers were selected by a
Program Technical Committee
including representatives from
the three associations and
abstracts were chosen based on
originality, topic interest, and
speaker qualifications. “The
content for the program is
designed to impart useful,
practical information that the
audience can take home and apply
to their daily business
activities” said Glenn Fellman,
IAQA Executive Director.
Papers provided
in the conference proceedings
include content from experts
from government agencies,
scientific laboratories,
research institutes, training
providers, and educational
institutions. Many authors are
certified industrial hygienists,
professional engineers, and/or
holders of doctorate degrees
whose papers share case studies
and field experiences.
